Dr. Vaclav joined the Department of English, History, and Modern Languages in the fall of 2025. He previously taught at the University of Texas at Austin, where he also earned his PhD in English Literature in 2024. He earned his BA in English Literature and Philosophy and his MA in English Literature from the University of Notre Dame. His teaching and research interests include Early Modern and Restoration British Literature, Shakespeare, adaptation, drama, and performance.
