Program Schedule

The Shepherd L.E.A.D.S. program is designed to engage our students in thoughtful discussions and interactive leadership sessions while providing time for personal reflection before classes begin. The below schedule is an outline of each day. A detailed schedule will be provided to students upon arrival on August 16. The schedule is subject to change. DAY(S) OF WELCOME: Saturday, August 16 & Sunday, August 17, 2025 Move-in (for residential students on Saturday) Explore Shepherdstown (Saturday) Visit the SU bookstore, pick up last-minute items, etc! (Saturday) Program Check-In (Sunday) Welcome Cookout and outdoor games (Sunday)
DAY OF LEADERSHIP: Monday, August 18, 2025 Engaging leadership activities Connecting with fellow peers and learning about your unique leadership style Hands-on learning opportunities with Shepherd faculty
DAY OF SERVICE: Tuesday, August 19, 2025 Join service activities on campus and within the community Reflection and connection with your peer leaders and fellow L.E.A.D.S participants
DAY OF LEARNING: Wednesday, August 20, 2025 Participate in engaging workshops on adapting to college from key Shepherd staff Learn about the many ways Shepherd can support you Gain insight and get your questions answered by Shepherd students and faculty
DAY OF HELPING: Thursday, August 21, 2025 Practice your teamwork skills and help Shepherd staff welcome new Rams to campus!
