Awards and Committees

Each year the University recognizes the accomplishments of faculty, staff, students, units, departments, or other functional teams that have given their time and effort to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion at Shepherd. The awards complement the development of a university community that is culturally diverse and reflective of inclusive excellence.  These awards also encourage the implementation of programs that foster a healthy climate for minority groups, inter-ethnic, racial, religious group understanding, and collaboration on campus.
