- The US Department of Education released the Title IX Final Rules on May 19, 2020, and this Interim Policy was adapted based on those new rules.
- The resolution process can be informal or formal and is designed to stop the harassment and prevent any future occurrence.
- Upon receipt of a report, the University’s Title IX Team will conduct an initial Title IX assessment. The goal of this assessment is to provide an integrated and coordinated response.
- Reporting individuals acting in good faith are protected from violations related to drugs and alcohol.
- Any complaint of sexual harassment reported to the University will be resolved in a fair and impartial manner. A Complainant, a Respondent, and all individuals involved can expect to be treated with dignity and respect.
