SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — The public is invited to experience Shepherd University’s Agricultural Innovation Center at Tabler Farm during an open house on Saturday, November 12, from 2-5 p.m.
The day will include tours of the farm’s aquaponics lab, food and forest production plot, and apiary and solar panel area.
There will be a donation-based farm stand where visitors can purchase unique Tabler Farm goods such as fresh produce and dried herbs. All proceeds will go directly back into funding farm programs.
The family-friendly open house will include a pumpkin painting station and a nature-themed scavenger hunt for children.
