Author Karen Spears Zacharias to conduct September 23 workshop

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Karen Spears Zacharias, 2018 Appalachian Heritage Writer-in-Residence and 2018 West Virginia Common Read author, will return to Shepherd University to conduct a workshop Monday, September 23, from 3-5 p.m. at Four Seasons Books, 114 West German St. The workshop, titled “Unraveling the Novelist’s Secrets,” is open to the public for a $50 fee and to Shepherd students for free. The fee will be donated by Zacharias and Four Seasons to the Shepherd University Appalachian Studies program.
