Black Student Union

Disability Advocacy Group
DAG is specifically geared towards advocating for those with physical, sensory or cognitive challenges – even if your exceptions aren’t easily noticed. DAG also aims to educate individuals on what life is like for those who have family members with challenges. Gender-Sexuality Alliance
Shepherd University Gender-Sexuality Alliance promotes acceptance and cooperation among Shepherd’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, asexual, transgender, queer, and straight communities. We are devoted to creating and maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment on campus for all students, faculty, staff, and community members. Global Shepherd Students
The purpose for Global Shepherd Students is to provide international and local students, as well as members of the community, with the opportunity to participate in different educational programs regarding the international and local community and multiculturalism as a means to advance in a pluralistic society. Shepherd Environmental Organization
SEO focuses on the sustainability of our local and global communities. They strive to include members from all walks of life and areas of study. They hope to assist in the collaboration of Shepherd University and Shepherdstown towards mutual sustainability efforts with the combination of all of the resources as students, faculty, volunteers, local businesses, and residents. Students for Reproductive Rights aims to promote an understanding of issues regarding reproductive rights, health, and the promotion of gender equality and equity through campus and community activities.
