Ms. Emily Liu is the Director of International Affairs and the primary designated school official (PDSO) at Shepherd University. Emily is originally from China and has lived in the United States since 2006. She has 19 years of experience in international education in various roles. Before coming to Shepherd University, Emily was the senior assistant director of international admissions and designated school official at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida. Prior to her appointment in Fort Myers, she was the director of international student recruitment and primary designated school official at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Before that, Emily served as the director of international recruitment at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. She earned her MBA from Northwood University in Midland Michigan. | |

Ms. Wrenna Dorrer has resided in West Virginia for most of her life but lived abroad in Germany and Austria during parts of elementary and high school. Before coming to Shepherd, she completed a Master of Arts in International Peace and Conflict Studies at American University in Washington, D.C., where she spent time interning with the U.S. Senate, U.S. Department of Homeland Security and global development NGO; InterAction. Wrenna has spent time volunteering with international students since high school and has interned for the U.S. Department of the State at U.S. Embassy Singapore working in Consular Services. She received her undergraduate degree from West Virginia University in 2019 and speaks German and English. | |

Ms. Mary Beth Myers is a Success Coach working with Veterans and International Students Support Program and designated school official (DSO) at Shepherd University. Mary Beth was born and raised in West Virginia. She has had the opportunity to travel to Germany, England, Ireland and Canada. She has over 20 years of experience at Shepherd University assisting international students with OPT, CPT, F1-Visa status, SEVIS registration and any type of correspondence they may need during their time at Shepherd University. Mary Beth received her undergraduate degree from Shepherd College, her MA in Communication Studies from West Virginia University and her MA in College Student Development and Administration from Shepherd University. |

Jean-Emmanuel Kouadio hails from the Ivory Coast and is currently pursuing a double master’s degree in data analytics and information systems as well as business administration. A talented and determined student, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Shepherd University in December 2021. Throughout his academic journey, Jean-Emmanuel has worked as a math tutor, resident assistant, and cancer research assistant, showcasing his skills and dedication to helping others. His professional aspirations lie in the fields of AI, Data Science, and Machine Learning, with a particular focus on becoming a data scientist. Apart from his studies and professional interests, Jean-Emmanuel enjoys a diverse set of hobbies. He plays the piano and enjoys participating in sports video games. An avid music listener, he appreciates different genres and their distinct qualities. |
