Welcome to the Department of Computer Science, Mathematics, and Engineering! We offer a variety of degree options including B.S. in Computer Engineering, B.S. in Mathematics, B.S. in Computer and Information Sciences, and B.S. in Computer Information Technology. We are confident that our programs and the flexibility that we offer in many different technical areas will spark high demand from employers all across the United States.

The CME department has been awarded an NSF S-STEM grant totalling $627,010 for June 2013 through May 2018. The awards are both merit- and need-based. Both new and continuing students are eligible to apply. Recipients will be awarded a maximum of $10,000 depending on individual demonstrated financial need. In cooperation with the West Virginia Space Consortium, the CME department offers yearly fellowships for undergraduates to pursue independent research projects with the help of faculty and staff. Applications typically open early in the fall semester and the research culminates with a convention at the annual NASA day.
