WSHC radio is a modern music format (alternative, pop, rock, hip-hop, R&B) with some National Public Radio programming licensed to Shepherdstown, West Virginia, serving the Shepherdstown/Sharpsburg area. WSHC is owned and operated by the Shepherd University Board of Governors.
History
WSHC prides itself on being a student-run facility. It is located on Shepherd’s campus. WSHC also boasts special programming, including eclectic weekends (jazz, blues, classics). Over its 50 year history, the station has prided itself on breaking new bands and supporting a healthy, local music scene.
