2023 Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Breakfast

Join us as we celebrate the rich history of Shepherd Athletics and induct three new members to the Shepherd University Athletic Hall of Fame. The Induction Class of 2023 includes Nathan Minnich, Baseball, Josh Kline, Football Coach, Jamie Ritchie, Men’s Soccer, and Ricky Schmitt, Football. Phil Porterfield will also be recognized for his sport of Shepherd Athletics and specifically Shepherd Volleyball with the Medallion Award.
*Please note the change in timing for this year’s event as the banquet/ceremony has been moved to a Saturday morning breakfast preceding the game.*

32nd Annual Alumni Golf Tournament
The Club at Cress Creek – 100 Cress Creek Dr. Shepherdstown
Check-in & Breakfast begin 7 a.m.
Tee Time 9 a.m.
Join SUAA for a fun-filled day of golf and prizes. Registration fee includes a light breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a power pack for each individual player on the team. Register individually or as a foursome. Collared shirts and soft spike shoes are required. No jeans or cut-offs permitted. The blue flight will be standard teams, the gold flight will consist of players ages 65+. All proceeds go toward SUAA programs and events throughout the year. The registration deadline is Monday, October 9. More detailed information can be found by clicking the registration button.
Founder’s Day Celebration
The parade will start at McMurran Hall and end at Potomac Place for a short spoken program and reception. This event is open to the whole Shepherd community – faculty, staff, students, and alumni!
Annual Reunion Dinner for Business Programs
Alumni from Shepherd University’s business programs, including business administration, accounting, economics, finance, and MBA are invited to return for a Homecoming welcome dinner to include beer, wine, and a buffet dinner. $40 per person. This includes your dinner ticket and the sponsorship of student to attend.
Pre-registration is required by Wednesday, October 13.

SUAA sustaining members please note: only ONE(1) complimentary ticket per membership. These can be picked up at the Office of Alumni Affairs in McMurran Hall starting Monday, October 16 through Thursday, October 19, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., or at the tent during the Alumni Breakfast on the morning of Saturday, October 21.
