Universal Waste

Universal Wastes are certain hazardous wastes that are commonly generated by regulated establishments, such as Shepherd University. Per the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the Universal Waste regulations:

There are four types of universal wastes, which are:

  1. Batteries
  2. Pesticides
  3. Mercury-Containing Equipment (MCE)
  4. Lamps
