Shepherd University is proud to offer students a world-class education at an affordable price, with students graduating with less debt than the national average.

The estimated tuition and fees are outlined below for the 2024-25 academic year. It’s important to note, however, that course fees will vary by degree program, in addition to housing and meals based on the student-selected plans.

Academic Common Market

The Academic Common Market (ACM) is a tuition-savings program sponsored by the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB). Offered to all college students pursuing degrees not offered by their in-state institutions, the ACM allows students to attend out-of-state institutions (offering their desired degree program) and pay the in-state tuition rate. Students participating in the ACM are not eligible for the merit or metro scholarships.

The ACM is not automatic and Shepherd University is not involved in the certification process. Students must apply for the program through their home-state ACM office. Learn more about the application process on the SREB website.
