Targeted Recruitment Initiative designed to bring employers to campus

Representatives from PotomacWave Consulting conducted four information sessions on January 19 for juniors and seniors seeking jobs and/or summer internships with the firm. Five students have accepted job offers, and PotomacWave is reviewing the résumés of the 49 students who attended the sessions.

Hiring representatives described more than 30 current job and internship openings and assisted students in starting the process of getting security clearances for future career openings and internships. PotomacWave Consulting, an Alexandria, Virginia firm, specializes in mission-critical program management support in intelligence analysis and operations; information technology and cybersecurity; and financial management. The firm is recruiting top quality students in business, marketing, accounting, communication, CIT, and English.

The session is part of Shepherd’s Targeted Recruitment Initiative headed by Holly Morgan Frye, assistant vice president for student affairs and director of community and congressional relations.
