Join us for tree planting into our newly established Native Food Forest! This spring our tree’s are coming through a partnership with agroforestry non-profit, Contour Lines. We have 1,000 tree’s to plant – the more hands the merrier!
A food forest is a forest intentionally planted with species that have edible components to humans. Our forest will also only contain trees native to the Appalachian region, making it even more unique. We will be planting Chestnut Trees at this event.

Turn onto the gravel drive at the blue Shepherd University sign. Follow until you see the next blue SU sign on the right. Turn right and park in the grassy lot to the left. There are red parking signs to guide you. Meet at the red pavilion.
