As of July 2014, the Shepherd University Alumni Association (SUAA) moved to a non-dues membership model. A Sustaining Membership is a level that is gained from an annual fee of $50 (single) or $75 (joint) that affords the member an official card, a free ticket to the following year’s Homecoming game, and a 10 visit pass to the Shepherd University Wellness Center.
Support from Shepherd alumni and friends has enabled the Shepherd University Alumni Association (SUAA) to offer career development programs to all alumni, support regional chapter events, and promote alumni volunteer opportunities to engage with current students. Sustaining Memberships make it possible for the SUAA to advance these programs and initiatives that make the Shepherd experience one that is transformative for students while recognizing the accomplishments of our alumni. Through the SUAA we are able to share information and connect alumni through the Shepherd University Magazine, local and regional chapters, provide funding for vital campus programs and student scholarships, and honor and recognize alumni through the Athletic Hall of Fame and Outstanding Alumni of the Year award.
Memberships run July 1-June 30 (following the University fiscal year). Any memberships received after March 1 of the year will be rolled forward into the following year membership.
