Lifelong Learning’s weekly lecture series, formerly known as the “Brown Bag Lecture Series,” has grown and evolved—now reimagined as the “Spark Lecture Series.” Reflecting our motto, “Be Curious. Stay Informed. Have Fun.” the series now features lectures twice a week and offers even more opportunities to connect with engaging speakers and varied topics. Most lectures take place after lunch in the auditorium at the Robert C. Byrd Center for Congressional History and Education (213 N. King Street) and are also accessible via Zoom for registered participants.
The Fall 2026 Spark Lecture Series will run from September 14 to November 4 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1-2:30pm. Check back here for lecture descriptions in mid-July!
