West Virginia Based Scholarships:

The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation scholarship is awarded to a West Virginia resident.  The recipient must demonstrate good character and score a minimum of 20 on the ACT to be considered.  Please visit this link for further information:

Scholarships From Corporations:

McDonald’s HACER scholarship program is geared more to Hispanic high school students.  It is one of the largest programs committed to granting future college students of the Hispanic race, a bright college career. Link:

Toyota Motor Sales, USA Inc. Scholarship is there to provide a $2,500 scholarship to any student who may apply that is seeking a four-year degree in agricultural engineering or agricultural science/technology. Link:

For those who are interested in videography, this scholarship may appeal to you as a creative teenager.  Toyota TeenDrive365 Video Challenge is a way to get your creative juices flowing. As new drivers of the road, it is important to be safe.  You can create a 30-60 second video to submit to Toyota for the chance to be awarded a $15,000 scholarship. The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation has provided over $63 million dollars in scholarships to graduating seniors of high school across the United States.  To apply for Coca-Cola scholarships, you must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. Nationals, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, Asylee, Cuban Haitian entrant, or Humanitarian Parolee based on the U.S. Department of Education for Federal Financial Aid.  You must also be planning to complete high school and planning to pursue a degree in a U.S. post-secondary institute.  For more information, click this link:

The Dell Scholars Program scholarship requires applicants to have a 2.4 GPA or higher, have a need for financial assistance, are eligible to receive a federal Pell grant for the first year of college, and are planning to be enrolled as a full-time student in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college or university.  For more information, please visit:

Nationally Scholarships:

The Ge-Reagan Foundation Scholarship program is in honor of the United States 40th President, Ronald Reagan, and is awarded to college bound students who have demonstrated leadership, are driven individuals, has integrity, and citizenship.  This scholarship program awards numerous scholarships to students, up to $10,000 that is renewable for up to three years, totaling $40,000 in scholarship money to selected candidates.  For more information, visit this link to review further eligibility guidelines and apply:

The Coolidge Scholars is a full ride college scholarship to high school juniors that are interested in public policy and service.  The Coolidge scholarship may be used for any accredited U.S. college or university.  Any junior of any background may apply to this program.  For more information, please visit this site:

The Davidson Fellows is an esteemed scholarship that is awarded to students who are eighteen years of age and/or younger and have worked on a piece or project that follows in the field of either science, technology, engineering, mathematics, literature, music, or philosophy.  The scholars awarded this award of a $50,000 scholarship will be recognized at an event in Washington, D.C.  For more information, please visit:
