SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University’s Department of Social Work and Center for Teaching and Learning are hosting a virtual professional development workshop, Transgender Health Care and Social Work Advocacy, on Wednesday, March 17, from 3-4 p.m. The workshop will feature Jenn Gallienne, transgender health services program coordinator, and Afton Bradley, care coordination manager, both from the Virginia League for Planned Parenthood. The event will take place via Zoom and is free and open to the public. One continuing education credit is available to social workers for a $10 fee.
