SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University students Madeline McClellan, Harpers Ferry, and Ryan Stickel, Martinsburg, have been appointed co-editors of The Picket for the current semester. Both are communication and new media majors with journalism minors.
“Ryan and Madeline have both worked diligently to improve their skills as student reporters in the relatively short amount of time that I have worked with them since August 2019,” said Matthew Umstead, Picket faculty advisor. “Both Ryan and Madeline have been very professional in their communication with me and I am confident that they will represent the organization in a most favorable light at Shepherd University.”
The Picket is a student-managed, online newspaper.
