SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University’s Agricultural Innovation Center at Tabler Farm is inviting students and community members to volunteer in the farm’s gardens to assist with vegetable, fruit, and herb production.
Volunteers will work with a supervisor at all times and will be given instructions on all new tasks prior to their undertaking. Most of the tasks involve physical labor, but a volunteer may request a non-physical task such as processing herbs or packing vegetables.
Volunteering is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at select times from March 29-April 28. Volunteers must sign up for a specific time slot online by visiting Tabler Farm’s volunteer sign-up page.
