SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Four Shepherd University sociology students recently spent the evening in the home of Charles Town attorney Aaron Amore and his wife, Ann Paonessa, for a Dinner with Strangers. Students who participated are Aaliyah Getts, Inwood; Kyleigh Wallace, Shepherdstown; Quincy Oram, Kearneysville; and Joseph Pike, Williamsport, Maryland. Other dinner guests included attorneys Jim Kratovil, Patrick Kratovil, and Kirk Bottner.

“We had a wonderful evening,” Amore said. “Dinner with Strangers presented us an opportunity to engage with students who are interested in legal professions. It gave the students the chance to speak directly with legal professionals about their experiences in an informal and welcoming environment. It provided us with the chance to impart some knowledge and advice to these students who are embarking on their careers.”

“I had a great time participating with Dinner with Strangers and it was an amazing experience,” Pike said. “I learned a lot. It gave more insight into future career paths. Everyone was very friendly and helpful!”
