SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University’s Seeding Your Future Initiative is teaming up with the West Virginia Science Public Outreach Team (WV SPOT) to offer a Spring Summit—an afternoon of free fun activities—on Saturday, March 25, from 1-3 p.m. in the Center for Contemporary Arts, room G03.

The summit will include hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) activities. There will be booths for families and children in kindergarten through third grade (ages 5-9) focusing on topics such as chemistry, biology, physics, music, forensics, and art. Shepherd University faculty and undergraduate students, WV SPOT members, and local experts will lead participants through fun and exciting experiments and activities. No sign-up is required, and the summit is open to the community.

Visitors attending the summit can park in Lot H on campus, which can be accessed off University Dr. and is a short walk to the Center for Contemporary Arts building.
