Registration for high school neuroscience summer camp open, deadline is April 28

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WVShepherd University is offering a free neuroscience summer camp for West Virginia high school students June 17-21, supported by the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) West Virginia Network for Functional Neuroscience and Transcriptomics grant. Registration is currently open.

Camp participants will explore neuroscience and data science fundamentals through hands-on learning activities with a focus on real-life applications. The camp will run from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. daily, and breakfast and lunch will be provided. Parents and guardians are requested to drop off and pick up their students at Stuztman-Slonaker Hall, room 209, 202 N. King St., Shepherdstown, West Virginia.

Availability is limited, with registration operating on a first-come, first-served basis. The final day to register is Sunday, April 28. Acceptance confirmations will be emailed to parents and guardians by 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30.
