SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University’s Phaze 2 Gallery is hosting the annual Student Honors Exhibition March 4-26, with an opening reception and awards presentation March 4 at 4 p.m. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
Students from the Department of Contemporary Art and Theater will submit artwork in a range of media to be juried for inclusion and awards. This year’s juror is Tom Conant, owner of The Gallery at 105 in Shepherdstown.
One more exhibition is planned for the gallery during this school year—a solo exhibition by sculptor Salvatore Pirrone, April 12-May 3, with an opening reception April 8 at 5 p.m.
The Phaze 2 Gallery is open Monday-Friday from noon-7 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., or by special request. For more information, contact Jayne Angle at 304-876-5294.
