SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — The Shepherd University Office of Financial Aid and the Eastern Panhandle Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. are sponsoring a workshop, “Financial Aid 101,” on Tuesday, October 15, from 6-7:30 p.m. in Erma Ora Byrd Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
The workshop will offer the opportunity for parents and students to learn the facts about aid to minimize debt. Topics covered will include federal and state aid, how to file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), PROMISE Scholarship requirements, and how to research scholarships.
