October 14 Monday Morning Musicale to feature music students

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Wake up to music on Monday, October 14, at 10 a.m. in the Frank Center W. H. Shipley Recital Hall as a select group of Shepherd student musicians and ensembles perform a Monday Morning Musicale, followed by coffee and conversation in the Frank Center lobby. The recital, which will feature solo and ensemble works for voice, piano, saxophone, horn, flute, clarinet, jazz combo, and brass quintet, is free and open to the public.

The performers will include Korinne Myers, Martinsburg, and Jennifer Forbes, Purcellville, Virginia, piano duet; Shenandoah Sokel, Harpers Ferry, soprano; Anna Watson, Cottageville, horn; Tara Foster, Leroy, flute; William Miller, Smithsburg, Maryland, clarinet; John Wilkins, Frederick, Maryland, baritone; William Miller and Joshua Smith, both of Baltimore, clarinet; and Kyle Colliflower, Frederick, Maryland, saxophone.

A brass quintet will also perform featuring Faith Kirschling, Frederick, Maryland, and John Miner, Boonsboro, Maryland, both on trumpet; Arden Cline, Inwood, on trombone; Jonathan Prematta, Elkton, Maryland, on tuba, and Watson, on horn
