SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — The Shepherd University Department of Music is planning a trip to Spain and Portugal May 5-15, 2018 that is open to students, alumni, parents, community members, and music supporters. Anyone interested in learning more about the trip is invited to an information meeting on Tuesday, April 11, at 5:30 p.m. in the Frank Center’s W.H. Shipley Recital Hall.
The meeting will include a presentation about the tour, including the daily itinerary, cultural points of interest, concert venues, pricing, and payment schedule. Information packets will be provided, and a representative from Worldstrides International Tour Programs will be present to answer all questions. The cost of the trip will include round trip airfare, hotel accommodations, all ground transportation, a 24-hour tour guide, two meals daily, admission to all sightseeing and concert venues, and taxes and gratuities. Special pricing is available for current Shepherd students and alumni.
