Master of Arts in curriculum and instruction now offered fully online

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University is accepting applications for its first fully online master’s degree program—the Master of Arts in curriculum and instruction. The application fee is waived until August 17.

The program is designed to help educators enhance their professionalism, improve the quality of their instruction to all student populations, and better prepare them for leadership roles within their school districts or in other education settings. By integrating theory, practice, and research, the Master of Arts in curriculum and instruction emphasizes leadership and provides teachers and other professionals with educational responsibilities, opportunities to enhance their levels of professional knowledge, and discover innovative and effective approaches to teaching and learning.

The Master of Arts in curriculum and instruction is a 30-credit hour program. Students complete 18 credit hours in core courses and 12 credit hours in action research, thesis writing, and a comprehensive exam.
