MARTINSBURG, WV — Shepherd University’s Martinsburg Center will sponsor a workshop for early childhood education and care professionals Thursday, June 19 from 5 to 8 p.m. The workshop, Supporting Diverse Young Children in Early Childhood Settings, will be preceded by an early childhood meet-and-greet reception at 4 p.m.
The workshop will explore best practices for supporting diverse young children and their families. Participants will learn a variety of practical strategies that can be implemented in their classrooms, including how to apply universal design for learning to early education settings while learning strategies for different parts of the daily classroom routine.
The cost of the workshop is $49 for one EDPD credit or $15 general registration (STARS credits available).
