SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University faculty promotions and tenure for the 2016-2017 academic year were announced by Dr. Christopher Ames, provost.
Faculty receiving promotions in rank were Dr. Kurtis Adams (Music), to associate professor; Dr. Andro Barnett (Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Sport), to professor; Dr. David Gonzol (Music), to professor; Dr. Scott Hippensteel (Music), to associate professor; Dr. Rhonda Hovatter (Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Sport), to associate professor; Dr. Matthew Kushin (Mass Communications), to associate professor; Dr. Christopher Lovelace (Psychology), to associate professor; Dr. Nicholas Martin (Computer Sciences, Mathematics, and Engineering), to professor; Dr. Carrie Messenger (English and Modern Languages), to associate professor; and Dr. Jacob Stump (Political Science), to associate professor.
