SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University’s Department of Contemporary Art and Theater will present exhibits featuring work by the fine art faculty and will host opening receptions at the Scarborough Library and the new Center for Contemporary Arts September 16.
The first reception is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. in the library’s Reading Room. The second reception is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Phaze 2 Gallery on the first floor of the CCA.
The exhibit in the library runs through September 21. The exhibit in the CCA gallery will close October 9.
The exhibits feature contemporary works from Rhonda Smith, Sonya Evanisko, Christian Benefiel, Stephanie Robbins Thulin, Kristin Kaining, Rick Bruner, Peter Bella, collabAttack, Mike Mendez, Adam Leviton, Scott Ely, Mark Burrier, David Modler, Robert Farmer, and Barbra Chapman.
