SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Facilities Management employees at Shepherd University are wearing pink t-shirts on Fridays throughout October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, to raise awareness of the disease and show support for those affected by it. The shirts, which have “Supporting the fighters and admiring the survivors and honoring the taken. Never giving up hope” written on the back, were sponsored by an anonymous individual.
