‘Dream Job’ Scholarship created in honor of Provost Stephen Spencer

ISSUED: 23 March 2023

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — When Dr. Stephen Spencer joined Shepherd University as the provost and vice president for academic affairs in 2022, he repeatedly called it his “dream job.” He quickly made an impact on the University and the community, making friends, joining Rotary, and setting in motion a vision for Shepherd’s future. Spencer’s leadership and vision will carry on through the Spencer Family “Dream Job” Scholarship.
