SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Don Rohel, director of Shepherd University’s Student Center, has been awarded an Honorary Lifetime Membership by the Association of College Unions International (ACUI) Board of Trustees. Rohel was presented the award March 24-28 at the ACUI annual conference in Indianapolis.
The award is given to those individuals who have provided exceptional service to the association and is normally reserved for college union and student activities professionals when they retire from the field. Rohel plans to retire from Shepherd on May 24. The ACUI is one of the oldest associations in higher education.
