SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Five Shepherd University art students and Sonya Evanisko, professor of art, recently spent three days in Philadelphia installing a large exhibit at the Philadelphia Flower Show.

This is the second year in a row that Shepherd students were invited to participate by the designer, Christian Kanienberg, of Wish Unlimited, a fabrication studio in Delaware, and Mark Harding from Flower Haus, a Shepherdstown florist shop.

“It was a great opportunity for the students to work with professional artists, designers, and floral artists behind the scenes at the convention center and to explore this work as a career in set, television, theater, or event design,” Evanisko said.
