SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — The Shepherd University Accounting Club held its annual Meet the Firms on October 5. This event was organized by the club to provide accounting students with the opportunity to learn more about accounting field businesses and careers that are available in the surrounding area.
The event was successful, with 30 individuals from 13 firms, the Shenandoah Valley Chapter of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Shepherd University career services participating. The businesses that participated offer both internships and full-time positions for students.
