The Multicultural Leadership Team was established in 1991 for the purpose of developing a diverse and multicultural group of student leaders that strive to engage the campus community through awareness, advocacy, and action for social change. Members of the Multicultural Leadership Team participate in a multicultural leadership development program that empowers them to demonstrate their commitment to social justice, equity, and diversity.  The members must complete 90 hours of community service each year and give two presentations. Multicultural Student leaders participate in a transformative program that empowers the student’s voice and promotes dialogue between individuals of diverse backgrounds and identities.
