The 39th annual Mid-Atlantic Undergraduate Social Research Conference (MAUSRC) at Shepherd University will showcase and celebrate the depth and breadth of research being conducted by undergraduate students in all social science disciplines. The intent is to highlight scientific inquiry and knowledge of psychology; sociology; interventions on behalf of clients; and national and international government, politics, and policy. The MAUSRC provides opportunities for participants to get advice from fellow students and professionals about research and practice. Students can present research during poster or paper presentation sessions. Paper presentations should not exceed 10 minutes and do not need to be traditional research papers. All submissions should reflect the level of a typical upper-division class. Participants can also attend a Criminal Justice Teach-in and engage in a Social Work Practice/Research Panel Discussion led by Shepherd’s social work students.
