Laptop Policy

Patrons are responsible for the handling and safe return of laptops.


The replacement cost of a lost, stolen, or damaged laptop is the current price of the same or similar model plus a $15.00 processing fee.

If a laptop is damaged while in the patron’s possession, the patron will be responsible for the repair cost not exceeding the replacement cost (current price of the same or similar model) of the device.

Missing, damaged, or lost items accompanying the check-out of any electronic device including but not limited to the Ethernet cord, power cord, backpack, and/or laptop case will be charged to the patron’s account at the current market price.
