Levi Parker is a community music instructor for trumpet who graduated
from Shepherd University in 2024 with a B.M.P for trumpet, where he studied how to play both classical and jazz styles of trumpet playing. He first started his journey with the trumpet when he was 12 years old, and had been dedicated to its study and mastery since then. Throughout high school, he played for multiple region and honor bands, including the honor band hosted at Shepherd University, and was a one time all-state band member in West Virginia. It was at the Shepherd honor band where he met his teacher Wayne Cameron, and studied with him for the better part of 7 years. Throughout his undergraduate studies, Levi had the honor of teaching both marching band and private lessons for multiple students and programs
over the years. Since graduating, he has taken a focus on performing and
teaching in the area including church services, local theatre shows, and most
notably joined the Spires Brass Band based in Frederick, Maryland in 2025 as
a cornettist. He believes that anyone can learn to play music, and looks to
guide many musicians, young and old, on their journey of discovering their
love of not only brass instruments, but music as a whole
