Shepherd University continues to provide guidance for students and employees experiencing symptoms or who test positive for COVID-19.

Although COVID-19 is no longer considered a pandemic, Shepherd University will continue to follow CDC guidance regarding COVID-19.  Most people will experience a mild illness due to COVID and will recover in a few days without medical treatment; however, some do experience more concerning symptoms.  If you have moderate or severe symptoms, you should be seen by a healthcare provider.  Our campus will likely see increases in COVID cases at different times of the year and the majority of people will have some immunity to COVID. Masking and vaccines are your best protection against COVID, and currently, there are medications to treat COVID.
