Shepherd University Conference Rates
Whether you are hosting a day-time workshop or a weekend retreat or multi-week event, Shepherd University has what you need to make your event a success! Below are our rates for the 2018 year. We welcome your questions so that we can see how best to support you and your event!
Housing
Amenities: All residence halls are air conditioned with temperature control in each room. A twin-sized bed, desk, chair, dresser and closet or wardrobe is included in each room. Linens are available for $15 per set.
We offer three styles of housing on West Campus, close to the Wellness Center and the Art buildings. More detailed descriptions are available at the Residence Halls webpage.
Dunlop/Printz Apartments
Shared living space apartment with two or three bedrooms per apartment and two bathrooms. Available with a full-kitchen (no microwave), three bar chairs, couches and side tables. No pans or cookware provided.

Potomac Place
Suite-style with two bedrooms and two bathrooms per suite OR two single bedrooms with one bathroom. Rooms include tempurpedic mattresses, a fridge and a microwave in each unit. 13 small lounges are located within the building, as well as a kitchen and a billiard table.

Westwoods and Miller Halls
Suite-style with two bedrooms (2 beds per bedroom) and one bathroom per suite. Includes a shared living room with the suite.

Shaw and Thacher Halls
Traditional style with double occupancy rooms. Buildings include shared hallway bathrooms with private showers and toilet stalls. Four common lounge spaces and small kitchenette available.

Dining
Flexible options that can combine traditional dining center meal plans with optional catering to accommodate conference schedules
- Pay with convenient pre-arranged meal cards or meals added to your residence hall key card.
- Convenient billing/invoicing can be added to your conference housing bill
- Staggered meal times for efficient service to large conference groups
- Assigned meal times accommodate several conference groups during each meal.
