Check List to Apply for Graduation
- Complete Sections I and II of Graduation Review form.
- Obtain your advisor’s signature on the Graduation Review form. If you have questions about completing this form, please check with your advisor or the Office of the Registrar.
- Complete the Graduation Application. Please enter the information carefully. The name on this form is what will be printed on your diploma and in the Commencement Program. Please check if you are not planning to attend the ceremony.
- Pay the $65.00 graduation fee at the Business Office, 2nd floor, Ikenberry Hall BEFORE submitting the Graduation Application, Senior Review and Survey to the Office of the Registrar, Ikenberry Hall, room 110 by Friday, March 1. To avoid paying a $50.00 late fee you must apply by Friday, March 1.
- A Degree Evaluation will be emailed to you and your advisor as soon as it can be processed.
- Caps and gowns may be purchased at the Bookstore. They are not included in the graduation fee. (Please contact the Bookstore at 304-876-5219 for further information.)
Information regarding the Commencement Ceremony will be emailed to you March 2020.
Candidates who miss the deadline of Friday, March 1 will need to follow the instructions below.
- Obtain a Graduation Packet from the Office of the Registrar, Ikenberry Hall, room 110 to apply for graduation past the deadline date.
- Complete steps 1, 2 and 3 above.
- Pay the $65.00 graduation fee plus $50.00 late fee at the Business Office, 2nd floor, Ikenberry Hall before submitting the completed Graduation Application, Senior Review and Survey forms to the Office of the Registrar.
- Students who do not meet graduation requirements will be moved to the next graduation date.
- Please be sure the Office of the Registrar has your current mailing address.
- Effective July 1, 2016 students who miss the deadline to apply for graduation will pay a $50.00 late fee.
