Outstanding Alumna Of The Year Award
2022-23 Recipient:

The Outstanding Alumni of the Year Award is an opportunity to recognize an alumnus for their dedication and volunteer commitments that have significantly enhanced the goals and mission of Shepherd University and the Shepherd University Alumni Association. The award recipient will have given of themselves for the enrichment of others, the University, and the betterment of the community.
Nominations are taken throughout the year and are chosen by a selection committee during the annual June SUAA Board of Directors meeting. The recipient is then notified and honored during Homecoming Weekend.

To be considered for the 2023-2024 year, nominations must be received by June 1! All nominations received after that point will be considered for the 2024-2025 year.
Shepherd University’s Finest Under 40
The Shepherd University Alumni Association developed a new annual program to recognize young alumni who are leading the way in business, research, leadership, community, artistic, educational, and/or philanthropic endeavors. The alumni are chosen by a selection committee based on their professional expertise and achievements, as well as dedication to charitable and community projects.
