Congratulations on your acceptance to Shepherd University! With that, it’s time to come visit campus and see what it’s all about. Whether you’re still making your final college decision, or you’ve already committed to Shepherd, Accepted Student Day is the perfect opportunity to see what life as a Shepherd Ram is all about.
When and where?
Accepted Student Days are held during the spring semester. Our spring 2026 event dates will be announced as we near closer to the season.

What will I get to do?
You’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Shepherd’s campus and student life.
The day kicks off with an academic and organization expo fair, allowing you to get questions answered and speak with faculty and staff representatives across campus. Students and parents/guardians will then hear from President Mary J.C. Hendrix, Ph.D. and current Shepherd Rams before an academic breakout session specific to the student’s major. Not only will you be able to meet future professors, but future classmates, too!
Lunch is served to all attendees, complimentary of Shepherd University Dining Services, and participants can then partake in an optional campus tour.
Who can attend?
Accepted Student Days are open to all accepted students for the upcoming term, meaning you’ve applied and received the “accepted” decision. Parents/guardians are encouraged to attend with their students.
Sign up to attend!
