Sophie has a Bachelor of Music Education from Shepherd University with a vocal emphasis. She teaches beginner to advanced piano and voice to all ages! She is currently the top instructor at Guitar Center in Hagerstown, MD. Having been in piano and voice lessons since the age of 10 and teaching since college, Sophie knows firsthand what quality music lessons look like. In addition to instructing, she also enjoys singing in choirs and piano accompanying. Specifically, she loves performing contemporary, folk, jazz, and Romantic-era music but dabbles in just about everything! FUN FACT: Sophie is fluent in French and can help you learn to sing in that language as well as many others! Her ultimate goal is to meet every one of her students where they’re at, while helping them achieve their goals and a love for music.
