SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Orientation at Shepherd University for new and readmitted students will take place a month earlier this year. Traditionally the university offered orientation in July, but this year it will take place primarily throughout the month of June.
Orientation Step 1: Advisement and Registration is scheduled for transfer and readmitted students on June 5. Sessions for first-year students are planned for June 9-10, June 15-16, June 18-19, June 22-23, and June 29-30.
Two more sessions for transfer and readmitted students are scheduled July 17 and August 20. First-year students can also attend a session on August 19 and an optional program for all students is scheduled August 22.
New students will be welcomed with a convocation on Friday, August 21 and classes for the 2015-2016 school year will begin Monday, August 24.
