The Women for Shepherd University is a network of alumnae, faculty, and friends connecting with one another for personal and professional growth. These leaders, by power of their example, support, foster, and promote the advancement of women and women’s issues within Shepherd University, the community, and in their own lives.

The organization holds events throughout the year with a focus on four general topics: money matters for wise women, women and wellness, women embracing change, and connecting through social media. Participants in these women-centered programs learn firsthand about the current scope and landscape of Shepherd University, and the positive impact volunteer leadership can have.
