SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — Shepherd University and Blue Ridge Community and Technical College (BRCTC) have signed a 2+2 transfer agreement that will give students who earn an Associate of Applied Science in Applied Unmanned Aerial Systems Technologies a seamless transition to Shepherd’s Regents Bachelor of Arts (R.B.A.) degree program.
The agreement between Shepherd’s R.B.A. program and BRCTC’s A.A.S. in unmanned aerial systems will allow students to continue their education at Shepherd in the field of drones and GIS by giving them the opportunity to study geospatial environmental issues that integrate social, economic, physical, and biological systems. Students in the R.B.A. program can also expand their knowledge in a variety of other topics for a well-rounded education due to the flexibility of the R.B.A. degree.
The R.B.A. program offers students who have been out of high school four years or longer the opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree on a flexible schedule that gives credit for work and life experience.
